Question by Paul G: How common is it to be jealous of past relationships?
Is it common for people to be jealous of their gf/bf’s past relationships? Whenever my girlfriend tells me stories of good times with her ex I get jealous, and sometimes I even ask her questions whose answers i know will make me jealous. Like she says that when she first started seeing her ex they had lots and lots of sex because they had lots of free time and went out drinking more often. This drives me a little crazy, is that normal?

Question by Patrick W: How can someone stop being jealous of a girl or boyfriends sexual history?
I am with my girlfriend for 2 months now and i was the one she gave her virginity to, but i am a bit jealous because when i asked her about some of her past, she told me that she performed oral on her ex twice and that one of the time he came in her mouth.
I know it’s childish, but it hurts a bit imagining the one i love doing that to someone else. What can i do?

You can’t expect every girl you run into to be “pure” just for you. Get over it. She’s with you now, and that is what matters.

Well if your on the phone or texting and he’s asking you who you’re talking to then that could be jealousy. If he gets mad when u talk about your guys friends, if he’s always thinking your doing something wrong.

I am confused because just the other day a woman came in to the office that I work at. I think she is either psychic or reads astrological charts but anyways she told me that the relationship between me and my boyfriend was a strong platonic relationship. I don’t understand because I looked up platonic relationships, and it stated that it is a sexless relationship between a man and woman. Well me and boyfriend obviously have sex so how can our relationship be considered strongly platonic?

I am every bit as confused by what she said also. Maybe that your interactions between each other aside from sex are very platonic? Besides, shouldn’t a psychic have realized she was going to confuse you and explain herself better?
