My husband and I switched roles last year … I went to work full-time and he stayed home to look after house and kid. I did not expect him to embrace cooking as a science, reading up on nutrition, buying all these cool tools (eg laser thermometer) and finding new ways to make vegetables delicious.
We stopped buying bread completely and now only eat his home-made bread, which is much tastier and healthier. Unexpected home-making skills from my husband!
