Jennifer is a 29-year-old administrative assistant married to Antonio, an Italian engineer, whom Jennifer met four years earlier while on a business trip for her marketing company. The couple now lives in Nebraska, where Antonio works for the county’s transportation department and Jennifer commutes an hour each way to her marketing office. They have been trying to start a family for over a year. Eight months ago, Jennifer miscarried in her second month of pregnancy. Antonio’s parents love Jennifer and often ask her if she is expecting again, hoping to encourage her to focus on her next baby. Jennifer’s mother passed away two years ago and her father’s health is rapidly deteriorating. Jennifer faces the probability of placing her father in a skilled nursing care facility within the next few months, against his wishes.

At work, Jennifer runs a tight ship. She is organized and prepares lists to assure that everything is done according to schedule. Everyone counts on Jennifer and she takes pride in never letting people down.

Jennifer has visited her physician numerous times in the last six months, complaining of headaches, backaches, and indigestion. Jennifer insists that she is happy and is not feeling stressed, yet she finds herself making more mistakes at work, unable to keep up with housework, and feeling tired and overwhelmed; she has begun to question her effectiveness as an employee, wife, daughter, and potential mother. Her pains seem to be increasing, but her doctor cannot find a physical cause for her discomfort.

She is a perfectionist whose plate is already MORE than full. Part of her knows that a pregnancy at this time would mean that perfectionism was totally impossibly. she would have to focus on the child, not work so hard, not try to be a perfectionist. she may say she is happy, but she is worried, stressed, and does not think this is the right time for a child.

Question by : How would 2 men in love getting married undermine your marriage?
I’m a pretty opinionated person, but I can almost always understand other opinions than my own. However, I absolutely do not understand why anyone would not want homosexuals to get married. How would their marriage impact your life at all? Sure, marriage started out in religion and christianity says homosexuality is a sin, but what about the other legal benefits of marriage that homosexuals are denied? Please someone explain your reasoning being against gay marriage with some good arguments, because I have yet to see a good argument.

Trying to find out the molar relationship between iodine (dissolved in potassium iodide) and ascorbic acid (AKA vitamin C).

My initial practical gave me a relationship of 1:1 but I get the feeling this is wrong.

Question by J: What is the Sanctity of Marriage that conservatives are trying to protect?
Statistics show that nearly 50% of all marriages end in divorce (google it). Conservatives most famous argument against gay marriage is that they must protect the sanctity of marriage, homosexuality threatens marriage and families…so if half of those who make lifelong commitments to each other in front of God or a judge are lying their butts off, how is marriage so sanctimonious that it is worth denying people who are in love from getting married simply because it’s not traditional?

Question by : Why do dogs get jealous when people pet cats in front of them?
I have a dog and a cat, and everytime one of us pets the cat, the dog gets jealous. He will get right in the cat’s face, wag his tail, and the cat will hiss at him and swat her paw at him. He reacts even more when we pick the cat up or hold her.

Maybe he either he wants more love or he wants to be higher in the family chain then the cat. Do you put the little kitty on your lap? Then the dog must be thinking that the cats on top of the chain so he/she is challenging the cat.

So I’ve been dating this guy for 5 years now. Recently he has been acting different towards me. We don’t hangout as much and he always has excuses for it. I would like to know what he’s really been up to. How can I tell if he is cheating on me?

I think you need more info or proof than that.
No offense but 5 years is enough time to know whether you are gonna marry this person or what. If no one has made any plans of future, he’s probably starting to feel very comfortable now.
The fact is if you date someone for a number of years like you two have been doing, they tend to start to put the other person on a back burner. It’s like he’s saying “she’s not going anywhere so I can make plans with my friends.”
It doesn’t mean he is cheating. It means he’s comfortable.
Signs of cheating are not returning your call, finding excuses to not do stuff with you (which you mentioned, but that all depends). I found that my ex seemed to always be busy on a Saturday night and never called me (we were dating long distance). I found out that was his little night to be on the personals chatting up other women. Pffft! Real nice.
